Please be aware that submitting a request to delete your personal information will result in ending your relationship with OPTAVIA and/or Medifast. Deletion of your personal information is irreversible. Please fully read the information below before submitting your request to delete your personal information.
  1. a. Your current order that is in the process of being fulfilled will not be stopped.
  2. b. You will be charged prior to the data deletion for any orders that are in the process of being fulfilled. For more information, please visit our Return Policy.
  3. c. You will still have thirty (30) days after receipt of your order to return a product in accordance with our Return Policy. After the thirty (30) day return window has expired—when we no longer need your personal information to process a product return or otherwise provide the service you requested—we will delete your personal information.
  1. a. Yes, in accordance with our Return Policy. We keep your personal information for 30 days in order to manage product returns in accordance with our Return Policy. If you make a deletion request before the return period ends, we will delete your personal information when we no longer need it to process the return or otherwise provide the goods or services you requested.

  1. a. If you have an event registration for a future OPTAVIA Event, your registration will need to be canceled. If you need assistance with cancelling your event registration, please call Coach and Client support at 1.888.OPTAVIA. Upon the cancellation of your event registration, a refund will be applied to the original payment method within 3-5 business days.
  1. a. YES. Any auto-shipments and Premier Program Memberships will be cancelled.
  2. b. Any current outstanding orders in the process of being fulfilled will be fulfilled prior to the deletion of your personal information.
  1. a. YES. A request to delete your personal information will result in a loss of any Wellness Credits and any Rewards that you may have associated with your account.
  1. a. If you have multiple accounts with Medifast and/or OPTAVIA, you must submit a request form for each of your different account numbers.
  1. a. NO. Medifast and/or OPTAVIA does not own your coach stored data. You must contact your Coach directly to have your personal information deleted that is stored with your independent OPTAVIA coach.
